**Red Dead Redemption Gets Free Remaster Upgrade on Xbox Consoles**
Fans of Red Dead Redemption can now enjoy a major upgrade to the classic game on Xbox consoles. Xbox Series X and Series S users can now play the game in 60 frames per second with improved 4K resolution.
The update is included as part of the existing Red Dead Redemption version on Xbox. Users who already own the digital or physical version can access the upgrade at no extra cost. This remastered version brings sharper visuals, smoother gameplay, and better lighting on supported consoles.
Red Dead Redemption was originally launched in 2010 and follows the story of former outlaw John Marston. The game takes place in the early 1900s during the decline of the American frontier. Players take on missions to track down members of Marston’s former gang in a dramatic tale of loyalty and survival.
Rockstar Games has not released a PC version of the remastered Red Dead Redemption. However, the update gives console players a chance to experience the popular title with modern performance features.
